Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me as a professional and as a person.
I love learning. It drives me to continuously grow, change, and accept new challenges. As an instructional designer, I find great joy and fulfillment in creating engaging and impactful learning experiences that empower others to reach their full potential.
Much of my career has been spent living abroad and educating others. This experience is a unique qualification for the role of an instructional designer because it has honed my ability to be flexible and adapt to change, communicate effectively, and relate to learners from diverse backgrounds. This enables me to collaborate with various stakeholders and subject matter experts to create effective learning solutions for organizations.
With a great attention to detail and commitment to excellence, I consistently strive to surpass expectations and meet goals. My understanding of adult learning theories, combined with proficiency in eLearning tools, allows me to deliver exceptional learning solutions. I value feedback, hard work, and the opportunity to contribute to a team effort and make a meaningful impact.
For many years, I've had a strong desire to make a positive impact and help others in my community. I'm a co-founder of The Mini Donut Half Marathon, a nonprofit organization that raises money for suicide prevention and mental health initiatives, and I've also done volunteer work with Rae of Hope, a nonprofit for stroke education and research, African Lion & Environmental Research Trust (ALERT), and The Little Heart Project. Through my volunteer experiences, I've built strong relationships and project management skills and worked collaboratively with a diverse group of participants and stakeholders.
